Dawn Nicholas, M.Ed., NCC, LCMHCA is a compassionate, client-centered therapist who specializes in supporting children, adolescents, and women navigating anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, life transitions, and self-esteem concerns. With more than 20 years of combined experience in mental health and elementary education, Dawn provides a warm, collaborative, and trauma-informed approach that creates a safe space for healing, personal growth, and lasting change.
Dawn tailors treatment to each individual's unique needs, using evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) skills, mindfulness, play therapy techniques, art therapy interventions, and strengths-based practices. Her goal is to help clients build resilience, develop practical coping strategies, strengthen self-worth, and create meaningful change so they can move forward with greater confidence, clarity, and hope. Dawn believes that healing does not mean forgetting the past—it means no longer allowing it to define your future—and considers it a privilege to walk alongside clients on their journey toward healing and emotional wellness.
